3 intensity levels
Start gently and gradually increase the intensity as your horse gets used to red light therapy.
What it does
The science, simply
Red and near-infrared light pass into the tissue, where they’re absorbed by the mitochondria, the part of each cell that produces energy. That extra cellular energy supports circulation, bringing more oxygen and nutrients to the muscles and tendons you’ve just worked.
The settings
Every setting has a purpose, so you can match each session to your horse.
Start gently and gradually increase the intensity as your horse gets used to red light therapy.
Helps reduce heat build-up, making it especially useful for sensitive horses.
Choose 10, 20, 30 or 45 minutes, or continuous mode, for control over session length and routine.
Always know how much battery you have left before starting a session.
Your routine
Wrap the sleeve around the clean, dry area you want to support.
Fasten the Velcro so it stays comfortably in place without being over-tight.
Choose your intensity, pulsing and session length.
Let Lumora run for your chosen session while your horse stands calmly.
Using Lumora
Maintenance: 3–5 times a week.
Heavy training, competition or rehab: daily.
Around 20 minutes is our recommended session. Choose 10, 20, 30 or 45 minutes, or continuous mode.
A full charge gives about 4–6 twenty-minute sessions.
What’s in the box
Using Lumora safely: always supervise your horse during use. Use on clean, dry skin, not over open wounds or active infections. It’s water and sweat resistant, not waterproof, so don’t submerge it or cold-hose over it. For a diagnosed injury or condition, speak to your vet first.
