Last updated: 26 October 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit lumoraequine.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who we are

Lumora Equine (“Lumora”, “we”, “us”) is operated by BARTS BRANDS LLC, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. We’re responsible for the personal information collected through our website and when you buy from us. You can contact us about privacy at any time at support@lumoraequine.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, order details, and anything you send us through our contact form, by email or in a review (including any photos or videos you choose to share).

Payment information: payments are handled by our secure payment providers. We don’t see or store your full card details.

Information collected automatically: when you use our website, we and our service providers collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site and how you interact with it. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

Information from others: we may receive information from our advertising, analytics and delivery partners, for example whether you clicked one of our ads or the delivery status of your parcel.

3. How we use your information

  • To process, ship and deliver your order, and to send you order confirmations and tracking updates
  • To handle returns, refunds and warranty claims, and to answer your questions
  • To invite you to review your purchase and to publish reviews you submit
  • To send you marketing emails if you’ve signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To show you relevant ads on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and to measure how well our ads work
  • To understand how our website is used and to improve it
  • To prevent fraud and keep our website and customers safe
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

4. Our legal reasons for using your information

Where data protection laws such as the UK or EU GDPR apply, we rely on: contract (to fulfill your order), legitimate interests (for example improving our website, preventing fraud and measuring our advertising), consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation (for example keeping tax records).

5. Who we share it with

We only share your information with trusted companies that help us run our business, and only as much as they need. These include:

  • Our e-commerce platform (Shopify), which hosts our store and processes orders
  • Payment providers, to take payment securely
  • Our fulfillment warehouse and shipping carriers such as USPS, to deliver your order
  • Email, review and order-tracking providers, to send you emails and updates and to collect reviews
  • Analytics and advertising partners such as Meta and Google, to understand our website’s performance and show relevant ads
  • Professional advisers, and authorities where we’re required to by law

We don’t sell your personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information under certain US state laws. You can opt out as described in section 9.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies to make our store work (for example, to remember what’s in your cart), along with analytics and advertising cookies to understand how our site is used and to show relevant ads. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how our website works.

7. International transfers

Our business and service providers operate in more than one country, including the United States and the United Kingdom, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

8. How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for 2 years. We keep other information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy.

You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time (see section 9). When we do, your personal details, such as your name and address, are erased, but a record of what was sold and when is kept for our accounts.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
  • Correct information that’s wrong or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your information for targeted advertising
  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your information, and withdraw your consent where we rely on it

To make a request, email support@lumoraequine.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we’ll respond within the time the law requires. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you’re in the UK or EU and unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

10. Keeping your information safe

We use trusted providers and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
